Makeshift Mythology is a side project of mine long in the making.

Most everything I've made lives somewhere in the overlap between history, fiction, and storytelling. And in that fertile zone, the thing that's fascinated me most is queer history. It's one of the most hidden parts of history and one of the most intimate all at once.

In a subject so often concealed by secrecy or privacy, the rare traces stand out: a Victorian mother coming to court to defend her child; a Chinese play about women arranging their marriages so they could stay close to each other; an emperor building a city to immortalize the beloved he couldn't save.

One episode is live as a demo of what's to come, and as of early 2025, more are in the pipeline very soon.
